Evosoft established two industrial chairs at Óbuda University

The cooperation agreement was signed in October, but the sign announcing the establishment of the new industrial departments has just been put up at the headquarters of the software development company evosoft Hungary Kft.

A special sign announcing that evosoft Hungary Kft., one of the leading software development companies in Hungary has established two industrial chairs at Óbuda University. These are:

  • Research and Development Department (at the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics)
  • Industry 4.0 Department (at the Kandó Kálmán Faculty of Electrical Engineering)

“The new industrial departments will provide our students with new opportunities to learn about the latest computing processes, developments and tools,” said Levente Kovács, rector of Óbuda University, at the displaying of signs announcing the launching of the new industrial departments at the headquarters of evosoft Hungary Kft.

The agreement on the establishment of the departments was signed by the university and the company in October. The new industrial chairs, established as a result of several years of cooperation, will allow the company to become more involved in educational activities, add more subjects to the curriculum and provide students with a place for practical training.

“As the leading practice-oriented university in Hungarian technical higher education, our goal is to involve market players in our activities as intensively as possible in order to meet the challenges of Industry 4.0. The establishment of the industrial departments also serves this goal” – said Levente Kovács at the signing of the agreement on the establishment of the two industrial departments.

evosoft Hungary is 100 per cent owned by Siemens, within which it belongs to the Siemens Advanta unit.
